Thank You, DJ Jedi
Outside of Temple Bar Tuesday night, DJ Jedi slipped me this mix CD...
"Blowout Breaks" is a blend of many classic songs that have been sampled in hip-hop - Roy Ayers, Ohio Players, Curtis Mayfield - and it makes for a fuckin' great listen.
It's been out for a while, and was even reviewed in Fader
** hides jealousy **
If you can't track Jedi down yourself to get one of these, hit him on his myspace.
"Funky Worm" and "In the Sunshine"...chuuch
